Went to Melaka many times but only this time was formally---a tourist. ^^ and we walked quite a lot…which was quite abnormal for my travel experiences in Malaysia. Haha…

However, in fact it’s more like a food trip. XD

It’s already two weeks since semester break ended. It’s nice to go back school again and meet all the people that I miss. My semester 1 exam was badly done and I am now aware of how close the real AS exam is approaching. Hard work is needed my dear gal!!!

This week is an emo week. Our class is glad to have Mr. Weh Kiat back from Sri KDU (ok I guessed he would come back actually bcaz he did it once edi =.=) and Julin back to Taylor to June intake due to scholarship (at least we can still see her around), BUT we are sad to have Jia Ni leaving!!! She is leaving for JPA. Yea the damn thing. :(

For me it’s most sad to have her leaving us as she’s like the ‘da jie da’ for our gang. I tried hard to control myself not to cry at the point of leaving and I was kind of succeeded by finding some stuffs to attract myself from it. Somehow, tears still welled up in my eyes for a little while. And Ching Yee did break down crying. ;(

And sorry Jia Ni I can’t go for the last Karaoke with you because of the stupid Maybank stuff and dance class.

I had the second Rock n’ Roll dance class for the performance on ECA day and it’s quite stress. For the first time I saw Mr. William with a disappointed face. Mr. Jia Yi was the most pity one in fact! The other two boys were not there and he had to layan us 6 girls. What mattered the worst was that we were practising hard on the lifting part. For the 1st time(ok I am always the 1st to try=.=), maybe I was too heavy and he got no experience, he fell down on the floor with me standing over him and all of them laughed! Omg that’s so paiseh!!! However we succeeded for the 2nd time. Blek~! =P After that he needed to layan the other 5 girls and I had fun by watching how they did it LOL! Overall the dance class was stress and fun lah, but we seriously need practices!! And what worst the ECA day changed from 31st to 21st. Oh god~! We got less time to practise.

After that Jessica, Jia Yi and me went to ECA centre the studio to practise. Jessica is a lot more confident now and she helped us a lot. I felt the improvement =)! But I got really tired jumping on to Mr. +1 and I almost dozed off in Asia Cafe after that when we met with Doris and Guo Liang.

What ridiculous, I even dreamed of the dancing that night!!!

Holiday!

Time flies.

It's already 6 months since I was back to Malaysia.
College life is fun but busy, and I had just finished my semester exam. I don't feel like doing good in the exam but whatever, I will work hard for the real AS and A-lvl exam. I really will!!! =)

Those days just after the exam were so fun!!!Kept hanging out with friends and I finally went clubbing in MALAYSIA for the very 1st time lol, in Euphoria. Not as bad as I imagine but, haha, I miss Aura in Germany!

Friday was AFS gathering and it's nice meeting all the people again! That night we stayed overnight at Jia Yi's house and bombarded his room haha! I like his house anyway.

Sunday I went KL with Doris and her bro. I just bought shoes, that's sad! Gonna shop again in Tawau hehe!!

Going back Tawau tmr lor...I hope I can find a computer to online!! I wanna upload photos and I got so many photos to upload!! And I wanna eat sheng rou mian, soto, xiang di mi fen, seafood and so on so on so on......eat and yamcha are the missions!!! XD

OK Happy holiday to my A-lvl friends and I will miss you all!!! See ya two weeks later. =D

WOW! So i actually abandoned my blog for 3 months. Unbelievable.

After I came back from Germany, I went straight away into college(the 2nd day!), so meaning I was busy for my studies since I came back. What can I say? This is one of the most adorable Malaysian cultures: study, studies and study studies. X.x

Goodbye Germany!!!

My other exchange friends categorised me as ‘crazy’. No one went straight away into college just on the 2nd day after arriving in Malaysia.

I actually agreed with them. I was not used to the weather, time difference and culture shock. I couldn’t sleep well at night and felt sleepy in the afternoon for the 1st two weeks. And I felt so strange sleeping in the air-con room. Nevertheless what shocked me was that I actually got used to the weather just in 2 days time. Imagine changing from a weather of less than zero degree C to a weather of 30 degree C. It’s killing.

Arrived in SG Changi airport. We felt like tearing off our shirts. LOL

The air here is so so so humid. I couldn’t breathe and my body was like surrounded by hot vapour.

I never knew there was something like this in KLIA. XP

I thought I would go straight to eat Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng, Roti Canai and etc. just after arriving in Malaysia but I didn’t. I wonder why I lost the appetite. Bet I was afraid that it would end up with stomachache.

Oh My Holy God! How could I forget this?!?! Anyway the ad was hilarious.

The 1st day at college was just too AMAZING. The people here were just too NICE! And finally I know why the exchange students in Malaysia love Malaysia so much. LOL. I love my class and classmates so much! It’s so much differences with the Germans. Sorry to say that but I definitely won’t miss my school life in Germany. Didn’t even bother to think of it.

I was grateful that I have chosen to start school immediately. If I stayed at home, I would have gone crazy. Eventually I have to agree with what the AFSers told us during the last camping: family would be the greatest problem when we were back to our own country. It’s nothing wrong with our family, just that when you experienced another family lifestyle for one year, changing back to the original would be a bit difficult.

Chinese New Year was amazing too! It’s so nice to meet old friends again and went bai nian house to house with them. And I finally cut my hair after one year time!

Special thanks to Mr. Jason Chin, who taught us English and encouraged us to go exchange.

CNY was short, only 1 week. Too bad.

Seriously, I couldn’t catch up in class after having one year of idle school life in Germany. Paying attention in class was hard for me and I forgot most of the things I’ve learned for SPM. The 1st month was hard but I have a lot of nice friends who helped me. Thanks a lot!!!

Some of the people asked me if I regretted on ~~wasting~~ time for exchange and became one year late for school. My answer is definitely NO!

People like this always exist,especially in this country. They think studies are the most important thing in life. So they think this exchange program is the same like travelling, because they express themselves like: Why go exchange? I can study hard now and I earn lots of money in the future, and then I can go travelling in other countries too. ~~It’s the same!~~

HAHA. So funny. It’s definitely not the same! You could only see ‘the top of the iceberg’ of that country when you go travelling. But after you went exchange, what you learned are more than what you expected! You got a new family, you learned new language, you got local friends, you met a lot of exchange students from other countries, you experienced a new culture, you coped with difficulties, you became independent, you……the list goes on…

Life goes on…and my exchange year will be the most memorable and wonderful experience in my life…ever ever… =)

Yeah, the second post about Christmas.

Today I gonna introduce to you Christmas tree and Christmas market! (=^_^=)

First we had to buy Christmas tree. Those tree were not well shaped like in Malaysia, because they were real one. In Malaysia were almost all fake one, I believe. =_="

This tree costed 30Euro.

Now is Christmas market. I was in Muenster Christmas market for 4 times! First time with Doris, 2nd with host, 3rd with Christine and Monika, 4th with Yao. *o*

Christmas market called Weihnachtsmarkt in German.

All cream inside. I ate the upper, white colour one and threw it away after eating half because it had too many cream!! Very 'zai'.

Weihnachten=Christmas #1

I'm glad that I finally have time to blog about my 1st 'real Christmas' celebration.*\(^_^)/*

Ok first and foremost let me teach you some German, Christmas in German is called Weihnachten. If you don't know German, you can pronounce it as 'wai-nak-ten', and remember to pronounce in Malay way.
Second, when you want to wish the others 'Merry Christmas', you say 'Frohe Weihnachten'.

Now I wanna introduce to you---Advent Calendar.

It is a special calendar for Christmas with dates 1st-24th and surprises for 24 days.

What are the surprises?

Chocolate egg with toy inside.

Or with chocolate sweets.

Or with hippo chocolate.

Or with...chocolate. ~.~

So, all surprises in my advent calendar are chocolate.

Of course lah~my advent calendar is from Kinder chocolate company wo~

Of course not all advent calendar are with chocolate, it depends on how much you pay for it. Normally are with chocolate or sweets, but if you got lovely parents, you might get surprises with anything possible for 24days. *o*

Then, something special in Europe is that they celebrate Nikolaus Tag (St. Nicholas day) on 6th Dec. But my hostfamily always celebrate it on 5th night by Oma Mia(mum from my hostmum).

St. Nicholas is also known as today's Santa Claus. He was known for helping the poor and he died on 6th Dec A.D, so we celebrate this day and receive presents from the adults. However he's actually the real 'gift-giver' in Christian and the 'founder' of present in sock, NOT Santa-Claus-got-a-presents-workshop-in-North-Pole-with-elfs-working-for-him-and-he-came-down-with-a-team-of-reindeer.

I dunno if he got a special name but I know he scared the children by knowing what bad things they did, so to behave better in future.

It's actually a surprise for me and Doris so that we can experience how the Germans celebrate this day.

It's quite long ago since they imitated the St. Nicolas because they don't have small children anymore in family and they all know it's fake now. So my host did it specially for me this year. Haha! o(≧v≦)o

Like me, I was confused by the traffic after living 10months in Germany which people drive at the right side of the road and obey every single traffic instruation. In London, they drive at the left side of the road and they don't obey every single traffic instruation! London people cross the road according to the CAR, not the green light!

Big Ben actually is the name of the largest bell in the tower. The original name of this tower is the Clock Tower, tower for the Palace of Westminster.

Palace of Westminster is also known as the Houses of Parliament of England.

Had dinner in Pizza Express, which you can spot them like in every street.

My pizza which costed about 8£.

Sorry I forgot the long & complicated name of this wonderful piece of pizza. ^^"

If you can't help yourself from coverting it to Malysia Ringgit, ya, about RM56.

Anyway, I read it in the menu that this pizza was created by a very famous No.1 cook in Europe something like that...so it tasted good literally! XD

Sightseeing tour. Oh bloody expensive---24Pounds.

Caution: Sightseeing tour I had in Brussels, Belgium was only 13Euros.

It's also for 48 hours but I think what make this one in London more expensive is boat ride inclusive, which was N/A in Brussels.

Then, we continued our journey to visit Harry Potter, my favourite!!We took the underground JUST to get to King's Cross Station, JUST to see the Platform 9&3/4, which later I thought it's totally stupid and so paiseh to waste my host's money although my host said it's ok and kept laughing at the results =.=''

When you're using the underground, please remain standing on the right side. This is because the left side is for those people who need to rush.

Only in London I saw people so obedient and stood on the right side.

We always know this rule but seem never applied to it.

p.s: I blocked somebody there so I was careful afterwards.XD

Anyway, the moment I arrive in London I already knew that I must miss London very much afterwards...maybe because it gave me a feeling of home---Malaysia...

So, really, I miss London for more than 1 week!!!

I think the weather in Germany knew that I wanted to see snow so badly, so it came so early,in 24th November, which was quite rare since 5 years ago. YAHOO~~!!!

That day, when I first stepped out of my house that very morning, thick snow covered all over the place, OMG so nice you know!!! Because it's the 2nd time my house being covered in snow and the 1st time in THICK snow, Haha!!

And this was the 2nd time I saw so much snow since March!

that night...
i had a nightmare...
nightmare...
...NIGHTMARE...

i was back to Malaysia again...
sitting in my old classroom with my old classmates like last year...
i was very excited to see them all again...
but...
they were so...cool...
so cold...
like no difference with those German teenagers...
i smiled so broadly to them and say Hi...
excitement was written all over my face...
but...
it never struck me that they merely smiled and sat down...
no chatting no excitement...
nothing...
i was stunned...
i was so disappointed...
where were my friends?why had they undergone such a change in attitude?
suddenly i felt like no air to breath...
i knew it was a nightmare and i gotta wake up...
''This not gonna happen...no...no way...''
I kept telling myself...
.......
...

finally i opened my eyes...
it's 6am...
Jia Yi was sleeping tight in another bed not far beside mine...
a wave of overwhelming relief surged through me...
his presence relieved my tension a little bit...
i was lucky to have him visiting me this week...
ok, it was just a dream...
ok, just slept and stopped thinking...
......

it was 11th of January 2009...
i was in the train station with other exchange friends from Malaysia...
we were going back to Malaysia by train...(ok this not gonna happen in real life)
i was terribly sad that i gotta leave my oh-so-lovely host family in Germany...
but i was also excited to go back to Malaysia...
to see my family, friends, relatives and lotsa nice people...
to eat Malaysian food...
to study in a whole new environment...
......
it's strange that there were so many rooms in the train station...
we the exchange students in one room and my host family in another room far away...
i kept walking here and there to chat with my host family and exchange friends...
it was until i found my exchange friends all gone for train the moment i back from another room...
panic was in my head : I CANNOT MISS THE TRAIN!!!
i grapped my heavy luggage and dashed for the train...
but problem was i dunno at which gate was the train...
what mattered the worst was i hadn't hug & kiss goodbye with my host family because i thought i would be going back to them again...
but i had no time to do that...
to go back to Malaysia was more important...
the train might leave at no time...
after searching up and down for minutes in that dark and old train station...
i finally found my exchange friends waiting for the train!
the moment i saw them i thought i wanna smack them because of not calling me to go to the boarding gate together!
and now i can't go back to find my host family because it was too far and the train might be there at anytime...
i was awfully sad that i can't even say a proper goodbye to my host family!!!
here, tears started stinging my eyelids...
and lastly, i broke down crying...
...

once again i opened my eyes with tears welled in my eyes...
omg it's since ages the last time i woke up crying over nightmare...
it's 9am...
Jia Yi was still sleeping tight there...
i sobbed as quiet as i could so not to wake him up...
it might be quite embarrasing if he found me crying in bed...
anyway i knew he won't wake up no matter how loud i sobbed
(Jia Yi u know what i'm talking about hor XD)

i'm too temperamental recently...
left with two months in Germany...
sad and happy mixing together...
haizzz...
anyway...this nightmare happened on thursday morning...
wonder why we could sleep till 9am?
very easy : ponteng sekolah saja mah~ XD

p.s : know what? my nightmare didn't stop at Germany train station...it continued until train station in Malaysia...and i could only remember the train in Malaysia very lao ya(lousy) and full of people until i had to stand beside the train driver know!

好久没有用中文写部落格了。。。是因为我的AFS朋友有一些是‘香蕉’人。。。就是外面黄里面白的朋友。。。不会读中文。。。或者可以讲讨厌读中文。。。所以我觉得最明智的做法就是用英文写部落格。。。

但，今天是我的生日。。。我想用中文来写。。。这样才会有。。。feel~~

虽然现在是德国时间十一点多，但在马来西亚的话我早已经在五个小时多前过18岁了。。。

*第一次在外国/德国过生日有什么感觉？
没什么感觉。。。真的！

*为什么没感觉？
我也不知道。。。也许是德国天气太冷了。。。我的感觉也变冷了。。。

*会不会期待这次的生日有什么特别的事情发生？
有一点啦。。。我只知道明天（德国时间）亲戚们会来家里喝‘生日下午茶’。。。会送礼物！！！我还蛮期待host家人的礼物！！XD
还有星期六的party。。。真的不知到底会怎样。。。我连要请哪个德国朋友都还没完全确定。。。真是烦人！

在德国，18岁生日是非常重要的。我问他们为何，答案几乎一样：因为可以自己去disco，可以做自己想要的事（父母都不大能管），还有其他一大堆关于自由的冬冬。
自由这是当然的，但是他们先说出口的就是‘自己去disco’，看到都显。我反而希望自己不要有酱多机会去disco！（幸好是真的没有很多=D）
都是抽烟喝酒跳舞，除了跳舞那个之外我都不喜欢。

他们都讲来到德国一定要喝酒，因为这里的啤酒和啤酒节很出名。
但很奇怪的来到德国以后有很长的一段时间我对吸烟喝酒的厌恶达到了极点！（但现在又对喝酒没那么大厌恶了，但对吸烟还是保持）
不懂做么，我看到这里不管男女老少都喝酒抽烟就有一种geram的感觉。-.-

但幸好我的host爸妈都不喝酒抽烟，可算是我来到德国最大的福气。应该说是可以拿到这个领养家庭真的是佛菩萨有眷顾我！真是不能再求什么了。尤其是我的host妈妈，真是我遇过最好最lovely的妈妈了。

酱讲好像好过我的亲生母亲酱。。。别误会。。虽然在某些方面是好过亲生母亲。。。但我永远都报答不了亲生母亲对我的教育和培养。。。不然我也不可能有酱的一天！

说真的，西方家庭教育制度有些方面真是不可领教的。有一些例子让我看了‘毛骨悚然’。。。如果我的孩子酱对我？！我死掉也罢！

我都不知我做么一下子写了那么多感性的东西。。。哈哈。。。看来post点照片来轻松一下。。。

last two weeks i just had my AFS Mid-Stay in Trier….say is Trier lah…I lived so far from Trier(the oldest town in germany)…..30mins time to reach there….so I cant be same school with my AFS friends….so damnit la!….just me one exchange student in school….cant ponteng with friends to town….i mean….i still can ponteng(I ponteng all lessons after 12pm XP)…but ponteng with frens in big town shuang ma….….christine, jonathan n others 10 ppl in same school in Trier….walk 2mins then is shopping area edi….how lucky they were….my town so small…ponteng ass meh ….then I was so bored in school again…haizz…

So…how should I conclude this midstay leh??

1. I made more friends…mostly afs frens…germans?suan liao la…-.-

2. visited Trier, the oldest town in germany…but it’s not as attractive as I thought…so far I think the most beautiful place I hv visited in germany is Dresden(hoping to explore more like Munich n Heidelberg)

3. not lucky caz lived so far from Trier and attended a school with worse students inside ALONE…(after this school I feel my 1st school de students are now more friendly liao =.=)

4. I paid 150euro to this midstay but f*ckit I lived so far from Trier so I need to pay so much to go Trier play n find frens…n of caz these money are not responsible by AFS…

5. made me appreciate my year family more(don worry I always very very appreciate them..now is plus++) n appreciate also my 1st school a lil bit(really only a liiiiiiiiil bit)…n I can conclude those german teenagers are all amost the same over the country...sienz!

6. visited Luxemburg and Brussels in Belgium!!!!(will blog it soon~)^^

today start school....so sienz...

caz it's the 1st day of school...the 1st 2 lessons was just giving timetable and choose ppl to become leader...i experienced something very....hmm....'superb'....'superb' german teenagers....

ok...the teacher was standing in front of the class...the whole grade 12 students were there....the teacher started with saying some stuff like ''welcome back to school''....then he stopped n turned back to arrange some papers for his talking....but within tht short time(less than 1 min) the students started talking.....keep talking...non stop....the teacher finished arranging the paper n wanted to continue his talking....but the students just kept talking......the teacher stood there waiting for them to be quiet...the students knew the teacher was standing there...they knew he was looking at the them with his hands around his chest....very obviously he wanted to continue talking....but the students just kept talking....for 10 mins the teacher stood....until a student asked the teacher why didnt he start talking,....then the teacher said:"but they are talking...i cant start..." after tht finally got students knocked the table or wht then only the class became quiet slowly....then only the teacher started...

walao eh....compare sendiri to malaysia students....if the teacher stood in front of the class n looking at the noisy students....within 30 seconds or one minute like tht the class automatically become quiet....the german students?....10 mins....or maybe more...i think if one of the students din knock the table to signal them to quiet down they will still talking there...i dunno the teacher is too angry to scold them 'quiet!' or he is too kind to wait for them to finish talking about their summer holidays......

i was sitting there watching the whole big group of students talking....i really waited till i shook my head edi....my heart whispered:"walao eh....wht kind of students are them.....simple respect also don hv??"

aiyo...if u think carefully....cant blame them lah....in western no filial piety this thing-----teachers?! "who u think u r?"

in germany they hv very different camping style...their camping is with a mobile home at a special camping place...the camping place normally hv human made beach and basic facilities...my hostmum told me this type of vacation is cheaper way of vacation...

hey everyone!!!yes i upload again...time really fliessss...now edi june...one week more will be summer holiday!!!so excited~!!^^
anyway...i think i better upload my blog about the things i did b4 summer holiday...caz the whole summer holiday will be busy for traveling n playing...n after summer holiday there will be afs camping n maybe mid-stay too...so one word---busy!!!

ok....this sandstone thingy was in april....wah...april...like so long time ago edi...=.=....anyway...it's a project of my art lesson...we had to make sandstone sculpture...tell u what..i never worked so heavily b4...we worked from 8am till 4pm tht day...it's under the sun somemore...damn! luckily the wind was still cold tht time...can balance u know..haha...

edi said is sandstone...so of caz use sand to do lah...haha..

they were discussing how to arrange the sculpture so that it looked nice...

arrangement using thread in progress ---my dear friend Alison..

after arranging the place..we had to build up metal squares to hold the sand together...

1st, poured the sand into the square and sprinkle some water in btw to make the sand wet ...

2nd, press the wet sand together till hard using steel weight...(this step requires a lot of energy!!)

oh yeah it's ready!!not bad right?^^

still hv to polish a lil bit at the side....

it's about 5 to 6 hours train ride to Berlin...it's quite suffering but the moment i stepped out of the train....i nearly yelled out---"WOW i am in BERLIN now!!!!!!!!"....XD

the last day in berlin...in the morning we go to East Side Gallery---the longest Berlin wall remained...it's 1316m long...there are a lot of painting on it which form a gallery but it;s vandalised quite badly...

HEE~~HAA~~ this is the 2nd post for my easter holiday....i hope that u enjoy reading it!!^^

ok germans appreciate easter monday very much....see..i had my cutest breakfast during easter monday morning....

ok the food is everytime the same...the thing is...look at the rabbit thingy...do u know what is tht??

For easter monday lunch...every year my host family went downstairs to Oma(grandma) place to have lunch....most of the relatives will come over...it's a big lunch!!yummy!!

the very first meal was the soup....

typical german soup...quite nice...but not setanding mum's soup in msia!!hehe....

noodles in cheese...omg fat!but very nice taste...

mushroom sause n fried chicken breast...ppl here like to eat breast one...*strange*...but it benefits me caz no one fighting for the 'drumstick' with me in here....wahaha!!bler..

meat in cheese,brocolli in cheese n potatoes in cheese...all cheese...-.-

at night...a church in Muenster had organ performance..i went there with host mum n vui khi....in fact it;s damn boring for me nia caz the organ was behind the audience...n we just facing the front for ntg...well...maybe Jesus -.-....whtever..although the music was not bad but i dozed off anyway...haha...

feel the boringness in the air??maybe some of them were sleeping also...who knows?XP

the next day...i was very happy...y?caz it finally snowed in my area!!!

then i counted how many chocolate i got for easter...

quite many though....haha...this was not all of them...summore waiting for my stomach outside my room...fat nia~!

Then on Thursday...my host mum brought me,host sis n my host sis best friend to Enschede,Netherland for shopping....

wow....nice cup huh...back to baby period?!XD

for friday n saturday i stayed in stephano's place...Friday i went to Düsseldorf with Stephano n a new friend from him-Daniela...she stayed in stephano's place too..she is a japanese from brazil..she speaks only Portugish...sad...XD

on the way back home...we saw a sculpture when we were finding for TOILET to PEE...our situation made everything funny...

Then the next day we went to cologne AGAIN.....it's my 2nd time edi to cologne....n i climbed up the church for the 2nd time too..but it's too tiredsome so i only climbed half of it...

Then we went to the chocolate museum AGAIN & this time it was opened..*finally*

after visiting the musuem...we went to cafeteria inside the building to have a cup of hot chocolate...with cream filling too n including a Lindt chocolate!!yum yum!!^o^

Sunday we went back to Muenster for ice skating again...i skated BETTER this time caz i only fell for 5 times...waakkaka!!XD

Easter Holiday Take 1 !!!

OK BAH i know easter holiday is like one month ago liao...but i really wanted to share everyone of u about the things i hv done...^^....i will update as frequent as i could now caz my 1st german course finally ended....yahoo!!feel so relieve~~(i m a lazy bug)XP

ok...let us start...i was really happy during my easter holiday!!y??caz VUI KHI n STEPHANO came visit me n stayed in my house!!!so nice to hv them with me during holidays!!^^

just after they arrived in Münster then we went around Münster immediately...we went to a lot of places in Münster....but i cant put all pics in this blog...u can see the rest in MySpace...

lol!!stephano long hair made him looked like a girl XD...see...the hair decoration thingy suited him so much...looked more beautiful than mine....haha!!!

tell u what....we really had a lot of fun in Münster!!this was one of them: the pyramid building is a music school with A LOT of asien ppl inside...to say exactly...i saw mostly asiens inside...i wonder y...@_@... every classroom inside tht building got a paper on the door n it's written with german,english,chinese,japanese,korean n i bet more language about the rules in the classroom...

we 3 then searching inside becaz we were curious...XP...n we found an empty classroom...with a normal piano inside...it's not so nice to be in the classroom caz it's hot...n i wished to play a grand piano....XD

the 1st room we found...

we could hear some music from the other rooms...so i suggested that we could make some 'adventures' in this music school...*naughty*....so we start finding our ideal room...bler!caz every room need to open 2 doors...so we opened the 1st one n listen if there was someone inside...if it seemed empty then we just open the 2nd door...we successfully found some ideal room with grand piano n evern more instruments like cello n violin inside but we always found those rooms were with jacket n bags inside..means it's temporarily empty caz the ppl having some rest in the cafeteria...probably...

then....after very long time searching...all we could search was temporarily empty...so we don care edi...straightly went inside...haha!!

after the 2nd room we still searching for more rooms b4 we headed for other destination...while this time we finally opened a door with ppl inside....wakak!!luckily stephano simply said tht we r exchange students then we quickly left the building....hahha!!

n then we went to Aasee(a huge park)....the view is really nice!!especially the time we went was about sunset time..really nice!!!we took a lot of pictures~~^^

on 16/3(sun)...i went to stephy's birthday party at her town...it;s nice to go there!!i met her n jonathan there..felt really good to meet some msians n talk chinese!!!haha...

hahah...we did fried rice...we did two times:one with meat n one vegetarian...tiresome @.@...tis pic is funny caz the music in front of the pan seemed like our recipe huh?ahaha...we did steamed sweet egg too...but maybe only one german in the party like it...it's stephy's host dad....haha!!

look awesome!!haha...no joking some ppl really wear wooden shoe as their main shoe caz it makes your feet warm in the winter n cold in the summer...my host dad told me so caz he used to wear it when he was a farmer...

Late Orientation Camp in Wuppertal

HALLO!!!AFTER WEEKsss I DIN UPDATE MY BLOG....NOW I M BACK!!!

a lot of interesting things happen within this two months...walao...i m edi here for two months...times really fliessss...!!!!

i think AFS late orientation camp in wuppertal is really fun n cool!!! i went with liva, ashley, rodrigo n alejandra to wuppertal....they r living near muenster like me...

liva(latvija),rodrigo(brazil),ashley(nz),alejandra(guatamala)(a lil bit hidden XD) n me(msia)

arrive at wuppertal....sky train!!!cool~!

start of camp...start of games...

workshop...to make a typical german...

...n state the good(green) n bad(red) of a typical german...

at night...reading some letters from past years students...i m glad tht i m msian...can read those letters in written in eng,chinese(china students),n msian rojak language of caz..haha

gathering at night...had some snacks n drinks n talk!!while some others were having disco at another place...but i choose to come here...

2nd day...had a tour around wuppertal with a piece of question paper n a map...we hv to find out the answers ourselves by asking passers-by...or any kind of creativity...

on the street in wuppertal!!we had 5 in a group...the 5th is the camera man Jason(aus)

after the question paper section is game section...we played the game "worth an apple or an egg"!!we were given an apple n an egg...then changed items with any ppl we met on the street...this game depends on our creativity...n also luck to meet nice ppl...the man in the pic changed our apple with his banana...haha!!

(in usa a man started this game with a pin n he got a house in the end!!cool huh?!)

the final item we got!!!cool?!guess yes...haha...(the scenery behind is the sky train railway...they built it above the river so to save place...)

going back to hostel...the waving guy is stephano from brazil...see the suitcase on his hand??tht's the final thing their group got!!it's brand new no joking!!damn lucky one..hahaa...

at night we hv talent show...some were singing..

....some were dancing...

wakkaa!!!we msians sang 'rasa sayang'!!!(with stephano n yao as guitar players)....i heard they said every year msian students must sing this song...bet very soon our lovely 'rasa sayang' will be known world wide huh??haha...

we(msians) very glad tht all of u clap your hands with our rhythm!!!

lol...we:me,yao,vui khi,stephano,lee mei played ping pong until wan siao liao in this camp...hahaha...we invented a lot of ways to play with ping pong ball...really hv fun!!XD we played till midnight(n continue the other day)...i think it's better than having disco huh??better for health also...hahaha!!...

after the ping pong we continued to play cards...we msian introduce them 'heart attack' n 'cho dai di'...hahaha....also play dao wan siao liao...especially heart attack...haha...

we had a lot of workshops in this camp...can be said the whole day were workshops...but i enjoyed it...caz i learn a lot of things...n learn better to 'survive' in a foreign country...n my question marks on cultural shock were solved....this camp energized me...to be tough in everything i will face in the coming days...n i learned tht i m not alone in facing problems...caz the others hv the same obstacles like me too....it's really good to hv LATE orientation camp caz we edi know how is the real situations...not only blah blah blah b4 we experienced anything real...make sense?
